Senior Specialist, Field Compliance at Eversource in Berlin, CT

Role and Scope of Position:
This position is responsible for performing timely and accurate in-field field compliance of proposed and/or installed energy-saving measures within Eversource service territory and leads continuous process improvement efforts within the Field Compliance Specialist Team. This position requires a mastery of all field compliance related issues and tasks and provides team leadership and training.
Essential Functions:
Tracks, analyzes, and reports key field compliance statistics. Reports field compliance trends and contractor performance. Investigates and adopts advanced field compliance methodologies and other industry best practices. Communicates and works with other Field Compliance Specialists and external resources to balance and coordinate field compliance workload to perform inspections within department guidelines and timeframes. Provides training to other Field Compliance Specialists and others as required. Provides services specific to the facilitation and fulfillment of on-site energy efficiency field compliance. Responsibilities include review of inspection request materials, efficient and timely scheduling of field compliance work, performing accurate on-site verification, communicating with internal and external partners, and clearly documenting inspection results within required timelines. Assesses and documents inspection results and reports results in relevant tracking systems. Communicates effectively with peers, customers, vendors and other internal and external partners. Provides their own reliable transportation for extensive driving throughout Eversource service territory to customer sites and be capable to regularly and consistently performing physical tasks such as extensive walking through customer sites and climbing fixed ladders. Includes other duties as assigned. Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
Strong team leadership and oversight skills Deep familiarity with all project technologies Knowledge of Evaluation, Measurement, & Verification (EM&V) industry trends Broad technical understanding of mechanical and electrical energy systems, energy engineering and the processes used to develop energy efficiency projects Strong interpersonal skills Solid capabilities in forecasting, project organization, project management and contractor management Technical knowledge and identification of mechanical and electrical systems (including but not limited to lighting, lighting controls, HVAC, refrigeration, Building Automation Control Systems, and air compressors), and familiarization with energy-saving options Ability to read and understand construction drawings and schedules Effective communication and responsiveness are essential Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent relevant experience Engineering and/or Advanced Degree are preferred.
Experience:
Five (5) to eight (8) years of relevant experience in field compliance, engineering, or related technical role(s). Team leadership experience strongly preferred. Licenses & Certifications:
Energy Auditor and/or Energy Manager Certification preferred. Working Conditions:
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required. Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary. Mental Aspects:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Auditing & ComplianceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
