Tradeshows and Events SpecialistLocation:
Berlin, CT The Events Specialist will be responsible for the ASSA ABLOY Red Carpet Tour (RCT) program - a customer visit experience, with responsibilities including scheduling, communications, promotions, on site execution, follow up, budgeting and reporting.
They will also be responsible for coordinating our Broadcast Studio for virtual and video projects, assisting with our promotional products program, and overall events marketing support.
The ideal candidate will also assist the National Events Team with tradeshows, events, internal training programs and miscellaneous field requests for tabletop displays, showroom product samples, etc.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and support all RCTs including scheduling, communications, on site execution, follow up, etc.
Management and reconciliation of budget at or under program goals Continuous improvement of overall process Assist National Events Team with trade shows and events including organizing rooming lists, show registrations, initiating contracts, ordering equipment and literature, communications to staff, occasionally acting as on-site support, reconciliation of invoices/final billing, collecting and analyzing feedback and any other misc.
administrative functions Support field sales teams for all local and regional trade shows and events - tabletop displays, product samples, etc.
Assist Products Displays Manager with showroom/product updates Assist the National Events Manager with overall project management of promotional item inventory and website Coordinate Broadcast Studio requests and assist with recordings and audio visual for virtual activations As needed, provide overall marketing and training department support including but not limited to; on-site meeting support and logistics, marketing collateral development, procurement of promotional items and other special projects Experience and Requirements BA/BS degree, Marketing or Events related industry preferred CMP strongly desired Minimum of 2-3 years of event or tradeshow planning experience Experience with digital marketing specifically with social media channels and marketing automation platforms Must possess superb interpersonal, negotiation, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing program needs Competent in financial management; experience working with both small and large budgets Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills Strong time management skills and high sense of urgency Strong interpersonal and relationship building/collaboration skills especially cross-functionally and with agency partners Client focused - superior customer service skills Competent in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with CVENT or other event planning software platforms desired Experience with Adobe products, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and Monday.
com or other project management platforms a plus Availability Requirements This position is in-office, 5 days a week, alternating between our Berlin and New Haven CT facilities Up to 20% travel in the domestic US Must be regularly available and willing to work assigned schedule or other hours as the Company determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
