1K a year Quality Manager is in charge of the quality management system and supervising the inspection process to make sure that all products meet consistent standards.
The duties include developing, implementing and maintaining quality requirements and procedures to ensure compliance to all customer regulatory and company requirements.
The quality manager leads continuous Improvement initiatives, manages projects in a cross functional, collaborative team environment to achieve organizational goals.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Support new and existing product quality requirements and procedures.
Develop PPAP, control plans, process flow, PFMEA, MSA and inspection plans as required.
Manage QMS system.
Manage and participate in both internal and external audits.
Participate in contract review process.
Lead Quality Clinic initiatives and procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to achieve organizational goals.
Manage projects in a cross functional, collaborative team environment.
Interface with internal and external customers to maintain premium customer service.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline Knowledge of manufacturing or machining operations Able to navigate customer portals.
Familiar with MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus.
Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Read and interpret instructions (English).
Strong desire for continued growth and learning Successfully completed or willing to complete training for both AS13100 Supplemental Quality Management System Requirements and AS13100 Quality Foundations.
