The candidate will develop and maintain schedules to manage the activities required for the planning, design/engineering, construction and closeout phases of Transmission capital projects. The candidate will proactively obtain project status to analyze progress and provide recommendations to meet project goals and positively influence project direction; determine critical path activities; assist management in determining resource requirements; and monitor and analyze actual project schedule against target schedule to forecast project results. The chosen candidate will be the dedicated scheduler to their assigned projects/programs in order to provide the continuity needed to support the project team through to the projected completion dates.

The candidate must have proven experience and knowledge building and maintaining schedules using Primavera Scheduling software (P6 version 8).
Candidates MUST BE experienced utilizing precedence diagramming, critical path method (CPM) and schedule analysis techniques.
Candidates MUST BE experienced working with project leads, engineering teams and construction groups. It is highly preferable if the candidate worked in the construction, transmission/distribution or nuclear industry.
Manager is looking for candidates with at least 2 - 7 years' experience.

It would be a plus if candidates have an Electrical Utility and / or Power Plant Construction experience / background

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
