Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to providing support for various promotional and outreach projects which includes training seminars and event coordination, registration and tracking and reporting. Also support with scheduling project meetings, minutes of meetings, monitoring timelines and maintaining project tracking spread sheets. Serve as liaison between event vendors, the marketing department and various marketing services. Validate, log and follow-up on requests for events, training seminars, marketing information, support and materials. Internal and external correspondence and proofreading. Skills and specifications include a basic understanding of event management, marketing principles and processes. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills and be detail oriented. Candidate must have excellent-to-expert skill level with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. A Bachelor?s degree in marketing or communications is preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
