Responsible for the technology design and deliverables of the Human Resources, Payroll and Time and Attendance Business Process and System Integration.
Currently, the 2 legacy companies have separate HR applications in use and the project is to standardize and consolidate on a single selected application. That application to implement is Workday (Core HR applications and Payroll) and WorkForce Software (Time and Attendance). Both are planned to be implemented as Software as a Service (SaaS).
The primary work site will be Berlin, CT but some travel to Westwood, MA will be required.
The Solution Architect (SA) will work closely with the Project Manager of this specific project to organize the development effort and deliver technical solutions that satisfy the projects business objectives. The SA ensures that IT solutions meet current and proposed NU architecture standards, develops conceptual, preliminary and detailed cross-functional design solutions and determines the application and technology requirements. The designs are reviewed with the SA peers in the architecture group and presented to both the project steering committee and NU IT management at large. The SA collaborates with the Business Solutions Analyst (BSA) to determine the non-functional requirements of the solution, including availability and scalability. The SA assists with all phases of the HR project including design, build, test, and implementation. Client follows a specific project methodology with deliverable templates which the SA uses.
Primary Job Functions for the SA:
For the HR project, the SA drives the translation of the business client's complex business problems into the selected technology solutions by designing complete solutions that leverage various IT services components. Researches possible solutions and alternatives for implementation of the HR project technology applications, business process problems, technical problems, performs an analysis of alternatives, and leads the recommendation to a solution. Coordinates and develops systems integration designs for the HR project, including high-level and detailed system, application and technology diagrams Creates solution architecture documentation and deliverables throughout the HR project lifecycle of the solutions.
Candidates MUST have at least 10 - 15 years experience to be considered.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
