Description The selected candidate(s) will work as a member of the Information Technology (IT) Program Management Office (PMO) and in the role of schedule and budget PM. Project Specific Role: Schedule & Budget Project Manager positions (2) are to provide primary scheduling, budget analysis and reporting for several active projects. One position is in support of a large IT HR consolidation project which will deliver new enterprise Human Resource systems.
The second position is in support of the Enterprise Computer Consolidation & Standardization for End Users which will deliver a standardized desktop environment. Schedule & Budget Project Manager will develop or expand existing schedules by working directly with all of the track team leaders and SME's of the project. The detailed schedule will include all predecessor, successor relationships and be fully resource loaded. The schedule must be able to provide critical path and be baselined. In addition to the development of the schedule, monitoring and maintaining the schedule is required. The PM must hold weekly meetings to obtain schedule updates to maintain schedule accuracy. The PM Schedule & Budget Analyst will act as a champion to foster a positive project work environment, identify and resolve project related problems, and successfully work with the team to accomplish all the project objectives in the allotted time and budget constraints. The candidate will also be responsible to create and manage the project budget which would include creating a detailed project budget monthly run rate, tracking all financial costs, forecasting and budget/variance reporting. Identify and communicate trends with project costs and recommend corrective action if necessary. Evaluate the cost impact of scope changes and/or schedule changes. Is a liaison and interface for the Project with departments including Financial and Accounting.
Specific Skills:
(1) Project Management experience with providing IT services for a large and complex IT project.
(2) Scheduling large multi-year projects.
(3) Experience developing minute by minute implementation schedules.
(4) Experience with large project budget management.
(5) Experience working with external providers.
(6) Experience with any of the following is a plus: human resources systems or desktop deployments.
Project Management requirements:
(1) A Bachelors degree is required. Equivalent work experience and technical training cannot be substituted for the degree requirement.
(2) PMI (Project Management Institute) certification as a PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.
(3) The successful candidate must have at least 5 years project management experience in a dynamic and fast paced work environment.
(4) The successful candidate will be fully knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of the project management Body of Knowledge. The candidate must have demonstrated experience successfully managing projects and be able to cite practical examples of this including example deliverables. Experience with the Microsoft Project is required.
(5) The successful candidate must be a high energy, detail oriented individual who will demonstrate: high caliber communication, leadership and people skills; strong organizational skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to collaborate and coordinate activities with diverse groups, including stakeholders, sponsors, team leads, other project managers, and technical staff. Aspects of the project management Body of Knowledge. The candidate must have demonstrated experience successfully managing IT projects and be able to cite practical examples of this including example deliverables. Candidate must have experience with the project scheduling tools; MSProject. The successful candidate must be a high energy, detail oriented individual who will demonstrate: high caliber communication, leadership and people skills; strong organizational skills; and the ability to successfully initiate, track, report and close projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to collaborate and coordinate activities with diverse groups, including stakeholders, sponsors, team leads, vendors, other project managers, and technical staff; a strong process orientation including producing high quality documentation artifacts; and a sound working understanding of IT concepts and the IT design & delivery life cycle. The successful candidate also will demonstrate the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization from administrative and technical staff to Steering Committees. Successful candidate will be experienced in general PMO responsibilities including: initiating and chartering projects; managing scope, changes and ensuring product quality; managing all aspects of project execution including creating and tracking to cost, schedule and scope baselines; developing and managing to run rates; managing risks and issues; providing clear and accurate weekly and monthly project reporting and forecasting; delivering projects and organizational change management to production using readiness assessment, sign-off and project close-out techniques; and acting as a champion to foster a positive project work environment, identify and resolve project related problems, and successfully lead the team to accomplish all the project objectives in the allotted time and budget constraints.

Work Site Location: NU-Berlin, CT. However, on-site presence will be required at NStar-Westwood, MA. No Per Diem is being offered. Ok to Submit Candidates at a higher rate. No cap on the rate.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
