QA Manager
Salary - 55k to 67k DOE
Summary: Oversees quality assurance/improvement function throughout the plant and supervises quality employees in their assigned tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.
Enforces and follows all safety, environmental and housekeeping regulations.
Supervises the processing of parts through the Quality Department and all work centers in order to satisfy customer specifications and customer delivery requirements.
Provides timely and thorough communication to both internal and external customers.
Works with manufacturing, engineering and the Quality Process Manager to minimize and reduce scrap and rework.
Works with all personnel to ensure that quality problems do not prevent company from meeting its delivery commitments and sales dollar goals.
Participates in training activities necessary to satisfy the Quality requirements of the company.
Properly maintains all equipment.
Enforces the companys Quality Management System.
Manages Corrective Actions (CARS) and Preventive Actions (PA)
Maintain and provide all necessary metrics as per management requirements.
Identify personal and company training requirements to meet the goals.
