Temp to Hire
Looking for someone who will prepare and/or review sections of the Form 10-Q, perform accounting research on GAAP requirements and prepare materials for Audit Committee. Must have at least 3 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting research, preferably some of it with a Big 4 firm. Must have strong skills in Microsoft Office, very strong analytical and written communication skills, as well as an understanding of financial reporting and GAAP requirements. Degree in Accounting required.
Comments CPA preferred, but not necessary. Codification research expertise, preparation or review of financial statements and Management's Discussions in SEC filing a plus. Will accept 3 years of experience (if candidate possesses Big 4 experience). If the candidate does not have Big 4 experience, would require equivalent years of experience. Ideally looking for someone with Financial Reporting and Accounting Research experience. Opportunity for overtime.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
