Job Description: POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible to oversee the policies, processes, resources and tools of NU's IT QA, Testing and TCoE programs. The position assures compliance and consistency in the quality of IT products and services by developing and enforcing Quality and Testing standards and QA best practices. The position is responsible to oversee the Test Methodology, test tools, and TCoE. This includes developing plans with leadership, domain area owners, IT staff and client users to adopt using the Testing and QA processes, and overseeing the execution of activities to create, introduce and maintain quality practices and a quality culture. This includes partnering with projects and domain area owners to provide Testing and QA support from project inception through to ongoing operational production supportability. The position works with the Manager-QA, Testing, Standards & OCM (Organizational Change Management) to develop internal service quality standards and analytics to monitor performance of the QA, Testing and TCoE processes, conducts periodic audits of compliance, and recommends, designs and implements continuous improvements to these processes. The position manages onshore and offshore employee and contractor personnel who perform testing, test lead and quality assurance roles for IT projects, other development initiatives and in support of the IT organization's systems portfolio. The position additionally is responsible to coordinate and oversee special projects for QA, Testing and the TCoE. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, related discipline or equivalent experience required. A minimum of 8 years of relevant business and technical experience is required. Requires strong understanding of the development and execution of Quality Assurance (QA), Testing and Test Center of Excellence (TCoE) processes for multiple Information Technology (IT) systems and client users across a diverse IT organization. Industry recognized QA and/or testing certifications are a plus. This position is being posted internally and externally.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
