Candidates must have at least 6 years experience.
3 month temp Assignment.
Work Location:
Berlin, CT.
8AM to 5PM 40 hour work week.
The selected individual will support several attorneys in a fast paced, professional and team oriented environment.
Individual will be expected to perform a variety of complex and highly confidential legal administrative functions requiring a high degree of initiative, judgment, computer skills, and business/legal experience.
Candidates MUST HAVE the following Experience / Skills to be considered:
(1) At least a high school diploma is required with emphases in business courses and secretarial skills preferred.
(2) Strong with Microsoft Office (primarily with Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
(3) At least six (6) years of legal secretarial or related experience is required preferably working with senior level management.
(4) Ability to plan work effectively, use time efficiently, prioritize work assignments and exhibit the necessary attention to detail is essential.
(5) Additional duties include planning and coordinating meetings, business functions and travel arrangements.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with both internal and external individuals is important.
The following Experience / Skills would be nice to have:
(1) Prior legal administrative experience in commercial transactions, regulatory proceedings, litigation and/or corporate matters is a plus.
(2) Experience in a utility company.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
