The scope of the individual's responsibilities will include the following:
oCollaborates and interfaces with the Solution Architect and Project Manager assigned to the project oPlans and coordinates all aspects of technical/infrastructure build (install, configure, change management, support testing activities and track using HP Quality Center, implement, support and engage from design through initiation and delivery.
oCoordinate the build of multiple.
Net web applications through all project environments oCreate cutover, back out and implementation plans for the combined project oCreate Operations timelines.
oSupport applicable migration efforts for data migration from legacy platforms to new systems.
oValidate system configurations and create support matrixes oResponsible for production cutover planning and cutover activities oAnalyze requests and seek additional detail required for prioritization and proper routing oCoordinates and directs the activities of build team according to the priorities set by the plan oApplies technical knowledge to drive and/or resolve highly complex technical issues.
oPartners with members of project team and other IT teams as appropriate to expedite the activities required by the IT lead role oIdentifies potential escalations and proactively alerts management, leads escalation and resolution process oDevelops, defines and coordinate execution of technical build schedule, activities, budgets and deliverables oCoordinates and communicates on activities among internal technical groups oMonitors work of assigned team, providing technical and analytical support and direction.
oManages risks, issues/problems, and activity progress to ensure goals are achieved.
Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed o May manage the integration of vendor/subcontractor tasks, and track and review vendor/subcontractor deliverables, if appropriate for the scope.
oConducts documentation activities to formalize and communicate the delivery acceptance, handover documentation and ongoing activities to accountable teams and complete a post-implementation review to identify areas of improvement.
oPerforms additional related duties as assigned.
The person selected for this position will be responsible for working with the Project Manager, Test Manager, and Solution Architect to ensure the technical build occurs as designed and planned.
Candidate will work at the Berlin, CT location and also be able to work effectively with developers, testers, clients and other management personnel across geographies.
The Ideal Candidate oCandidate must have previous experience with large scale web site deployments oThe candidate should have experience in the redesign/re-engineering of older technology web sites into modern web sites.
oExperience with the Telerik Sitefinity content management system is extremely desirable oExperience with interacting with a consulting vendor/system integrator for deployment of a large scale web site and web design project is desirable.
